Timely Announcement for Documentary Filmmakers

Here it is!  Guided by feedback from hundreds of filmmakers, I’m excited to announce a new private training program for documentary filmmakers that answers this question: “What does it take to keep your viewers riveted to the screen?”

That’s the central question for all documentary filmmakers, and one I’ve been answering for nearly twenty years as a documentary story consultant and editing instructor at the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley — the nation’s top U.S. documentary film program.

The Ultimate Guide to Structuring Your Documentary is a 3-month seminar that will give you the tools, individual support and proven, step-by-step strategies you need to craft a compelling documentary film from pre-production to distribution.

Delivered online in 12 weekly video trainings, and supplemented with biweekly telephone coaching sessions in which I will answer your personal questions, this information-packed program shows you how to apply screenwriting and other storytelling techniques to convey your vision. By the end of the program, you’ll know exactly what it takes to get both funders and viewers to sit up and lean forward (and the funders will be reaching for their checkbooks)!

The Ultimate Guide to Structuring Your Documentary runs May 15-August 15, 2010. You can watch the weekly video trainings at your own pace, even after the course in finished.  And the supplemental coaching phone calls are every other Tuesday night at 5pm PST/8pm EST (recorded in case you can’t make it).

Initially I sold this program for $497.97, but I decided over the weekend to price this master-level coaching seminar so that it’s affordable to as many filmmakers as possible.  This new special offer is $87.97/mo. for 4 months, or $297.97 if you pay for the entire program upfront.

Note that in order to provide a quality coaching experience, I can only take 30 motivated filmmakers.  If you register for this seminar by May 7th, you will receive a complementary digital copy of my new book, Documentary Editing, endorsed Robb Moss, who teaches in the film program at Harvard University, and by Ken Schneider, co-editor of the Academy Award-nominated documentary Regret to Inform.

I look forward to helping you craft your documentary into a tightly-paced, riveting film that will educate and inspire millions of viewers to change the world with your vision! Go to https://newdocediting.com/land/ultimate_documentary_guide.
